Please pack a water bottle for your child each day with his/her name written on it.Balanced and nutritious meals can help children stay focused and provide fuel for their growth and development. Kindergartners will need to bring two snacks and a lunch to school daily.
Tips for packing your child's snack/lunch box: 1- We encourage you to pack food that is low in fat and sugar, no candy, potato chips, or non-fruit juice drinks please. 2- Please pack snacks and lunch in separate, leak proof containers or ziplock bags within their lunch box. 3- Avoid glass containers. 4- If an item needs cutting or peeling, please do so before packing. 5- If an item needs a spoon or a fork to be eaten, please pack a spoon or a fork in your child's lunch box. 6- For your child's safety, if you send items that need refrigeration please pack along an ice pack to keep food cold until ready to eat. 7- Please write your child's name on his or her lunch box. |
