Take Home Folders
Each student will have a take home folder labeled with his or her name. On one side of the folder, there is a pocket for papers that the child can keep at home, such as finished work and school announcements. On the other side, there is a pocket for papers that need to be returned to school, such as homework assignments and field trip consent forms. Please check the folder every day and return any forms that need to be returned promptly. Checking the folder regularly will help you stay informed of important school events.
Helpful tip: Set aside a regular time every day to go over the folder with your child. Praising and asking questions about their work are great ways to show your child that you care about how they do in school.

Updates and reminders
Sometimes I will need to send important updates and quick reminders to parents. Remind is an easy and safe way for me to send on the spot messages from any mobile device. It is also a great way to communicate with parents who do not have access to email. Depending on whether you sign up via email or by phone, you will be able to receive my messages in the form of an email or text on any mobile device (i.e. you do not need a smart phone). It is both free and safe: I will not have access to your phone number and you will not have access to mine. All you will see is a text or email with the announcement I'm sending you. Please click the button below for instructions on how to sign up. Signing up is easy and completely voluntary but highly recommend. To learn more about Remind, please visit remind.com. If you're ready to sign up, please click the green button below.
Class Newsletter
The newsletter is sent every two weeks via email and has information about what we've been learning and announcements for upcoming events.
